Blues Squeeze Past Ravens 6-4

The Ravens met the Blues for the second time this season on a rare Monday night game. In the first period, the Blues got on the board first at the 5:19 mark. A little over three minutes later, Kevin Eck answered with his fourth goal of the season to even the game 1-1 after the first period. In the second period, the Blues re-gained the lead on a rebound in front of the net, before the Ravens again tied the game on a goal from Joe Brand (3) at the 6:12 mark. The Blues scored one more goal in the closing minutes to hold a 3-2 lead going into the final period. In the third period, the Blues took their first two-goal lead of the game just :30 in, before extending their lead to 5-2 with 13:04 remaining. The Ravens did not go away quietly, as Brand (4) and Eck (5) each recorded their second goals of the game to pull the Ravens within one. The Ravens could not get the equalizer as the Blues put the game away with 1:30 remaining to cap off their second win against the Ravens this season. Mark Baccoli made 38 saves on 44 shots in the game.
