The Ravens faced off against the Cyclones for the first time since they defeated them in the B league championship back on December 20, 2009. In the first period, the Cyclones showed why they are the league's top team, pouring on 19 shots and holding a 2-1 advantage after one. Scott Parker registered his first goal of the season for the Ravens in the opening frame at the 5:58 mark. While the Ravens were able to keep the game close in the second period, the Cyclones' Kevin Osborne buried a loose puck on the doorstep to put his team up 3-1 after two periods. However, the resilient Ravens did not go away quietly. In the third period, they were rewarded at 13:56 when Billy Storoniak (11) buried the puck off a defender's skate to pull the Ravens within one. Ultimately, the Cyclones got the best of the night as they put the pedal to the floor, scoring two goals 4:37 apart, giving them the 5-2 victory and improving to 5-0 on the season.

The Ravens played a hard three periods, doing a good job containing an undefeated team with a +27 goal differential in four games coming into Tuesday night. Mark Baccoli stopped 38 of 43 shots in the game.
