After enduring a humbling shootout victory last week, the Ravens took the ice on Tuesday with determination. Dennis Hinkley registered his first goal in a Ravens uniform to open the scoring 1:31 into the game. Billy Storoniak (17) and Brian Bump (2) scored goals 1:04 apart to give the Ravens an early 3-0 lead, with about eight minutes still remaining in the first period. The Average Joes got on the board shortly after, but Storoniak (18) added his second of the game to put the Ravens up 4-1 after the first period. In the second period, the Ravens did not slow down. Nate Keller (5) scored at 6:07 of the period and Storoniak (19) recorded his third of the game with 3:39 remaining to boost the Ravens lead to 6-1 after two. In the third period, the Joes scored on a breakaway rebound just 30 seconds in, before the Ravens went on a four unanswered goal tear. Hinkley (2) scored his second of the game, followed by Kevin Eck (2), Storoniak (20), and Kevin Vey (4). The Ravens put up a strong effort in all three periods, and they were rewarded by hitting the double digit goal mark for the sixth time in the past eleven seasons, and the first time since fall of 2011. Mark Baccoli had a relatively easy night between the pipes, as he stopped 15 of 17 shots in the game.
